The "Vista Lago" Hotel is located in Brunate, an ancient village situated 712 meters above sea level on the hill overlooking the town of Como. In a privileged location, just 100 meters from the Funicular Station that connects Brunate to Como in 7 minutes, it enjoys unparalleled views of the Lake and the Alps. Given its panoramic position and the altitude at which it is located, Brunate in the last century became one of Lombardy's most renowned holiday resorts and still today one can admire many sumptuous villas, evidence of that era as well as a Lighthouse in Località S. Maurizio erected in 1927 to pay homage to Alessandro Volta of Como. for nature lovers there is the possibility of taking long walks at high altitude, touching the various Larian Triangle Mountains until reaching Bellagio. There are also itineraries that, on foot, lead from Brunate to Como.

We stayed one night. Much effort to get to the hotel, very narrow roads...equip yourself with a small car!
Once you get there the view is magnificent!!!
The staff is top, thanks to Rocco and Marianna who welcomed us very well, even offering us an aperitif.

Perfectly located, clean hotel with restaurant and a magnificent view of the mountains around Lake Como. Owner very friendly and very helpful. The funicular, just a stone's throw from the hotel, allows you to reach Como comfortably and in a few minutes.

Fabulous location and view. Very friendly and attentive staff, they waited for us with breakfast ready even after the appointed time. The room has a small terrace overlooking the valley with breathtaking views of the lake. Funicular to Como within walking distance.
